Who We Are/What We Do publishing and distibuting since 1972.
VISTABOOKS ENCORE embraces the original
VISTABOOKS HISTORY REPRINTS (a blog explaining the VistaBooks progam of publising first person and early accounts of American history at selected sites is here.)
and
VISTABOOKS ONLINE (fomerly VistaBooks Outlet)-- a source for titles on nature, outdoors, Americana from hundreds of publishers; now being incorporateed into VistaBooks Vintage (see below).
now also offering
VISTABOOKS VINTAGE --never-used, used, and oldies/scarce/rare/collectible/out-of-print books plus maps, magazines and newspapers, tapes and records, and some antique or non-current items.
Over the years since 1972 when we started VistaBooks and even before that we have been consumers and readers and even writers and publishers of books in our areas of interest (national parks, Western Americana, nature, exploring, more) and have accumulated myriad titles and inventory that are now wanting more shelf space than we have. It is time to downsize, and so we are offering some of our accumulations for sale at reduced prices and others for sale for the first time. Over the 60+ years of accumulating items, many have increased in their meanings and importance as historical records. Others are just god values on good topics. We hope you will take a look at our section links--VistaBooks History Reprints, VistaBooks Onlne, and VistaBooks Vintage--click on their links here to see each of these sections or at the bottom of this or any page.
Thanks, Bill Jones
